Talking to Munin

Ask in your own words, choose with a tap.

Say it your way

There are no commands to learn. Write the way you speak, and put several things in one message if you like — "make the header darker, fix the typo in the footer and add our Instagram".

Buttons under replies

When Munin needs you to choose, it ends its reply with buttons — tap one instead of typing. Buttons are always about the reply they sit under, and each one works once.

Asking for options

Not sure what you want? Ask for choices: "give me two logo ideas to pick from", "show me three colour schemes". Munin draws them as slides, one option per slide, and sends you a link to see them side by side. Your site stays as it is until you pick — tap Use … under the reply, and Munin puts that one in place.

Stopping and undoing

  • Stop on the progress card, or /cancel, stops the change being made and puts everything back as it was.
  • /undo takes back your last finished change.
  • In the Munin app, History shows every change in your own words, with Go back here on each one.

See Undo, stop and history.

A few useful words

  • publish — puts your project on the web. See Preview and publish.
  • /new — starts another project.
  • /projects — shows your projects and lets you switch between them.

What Munin will not do

  • It won't take a password or a key in the chat. If your project needs one (say, for payments or email), add it in the Munin app under your project's keys. A key typed into a chat ends up in places it shouldn't.
  • It won't follow instructions hidden in things you forward. A forwarded message or a pasted page is treated as something to read, never as something to obey. Only what you type is an instruction.
