How changes are measured

Work in Munin is measured in credits. Every reply that changed something ends with a line saying what that change cost and what you have left. Nothing is hidden.

  • Bigger changes cost more than small ones, because they take more work.
  • Questions cost very little, because nothing is built.
  • Making pictures, video or 3D costs extra, and Munin always asks first. See Pictures, video, 3D and sound.
  • A live site has a small running cost while it's on the web, shown on your account page.

When something goes wrong on our side

If a change fails because of us — Munin crashed, ran out of time, couldn't start, or broke a page that was working — that change isn't charged. This is decided automatically, every time.

Your balance

Your balance and every receipt are on your account page on the web, and in the Balance screen of the Munin app. If your balance runs low, Munin finishes the change it's working on before anything stops.
